5G is even more damaging to birds, bees, animals, plants, trees, butterflies and us than 4G, giving off 50 to 100 times the radiation, with small cell towers sited with far greater proximity to our trees, plants, wildlife and homes. Also, children's absorption of wireless radiation is 10 times greater than adults.
5G has been rolled out with very little positive health study conducted to show safety.
With 5G cell towers in place and transmitting, we are all much more susceptible to diseases that this radiation will help to induce or augment, such as cancer, blood disorders, seizures, hormonal, neurological, and mental illnesses.
The industry-captured FCC has not done one health study proving the safety of this new technology.
There are over 14,000 medical studies and reports that correlate wireless radiation to human disease, or environmental harm, such as the study by the National Toxicology Program that showed “clear evidence of carcinogenicity.”

Microwaves were initially developed as a weapon by the Department of Defense. Over 100,000 scientists, environmentalists, and health professionals are calling on the UN and the WHO for a moratorium on the rollout of 5G: www.5gspaceappeal.org.
Many European cities have enacted a moratorium on 5G. US cities are fighting as well, 80+ cities and counties have filed a lawsuit against the FCC to restore local control over the siting of 5G installations - go to ehtrust.org for more information.
5G was originally a military technology and some postulate that 5G technology may also be being used to modify our moods and behaviors. Some even postulate that it may even be used to modify our thoughts. A regular internet search on this will however not turn up any evidence of this. Some postulate that 5G may be a form of alien warfare.
On February 7, 2014, the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) stated, “the electromagnetic radiation standards used by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) continue to be based on thermal heating, a criterion now nearly 30 years out of date and inapplicable today,” in reference to the current limits governing radiation utilized by WiFi. The DOI letter discusses a number of studies in which birds appear harmed by low-level RF radiation associated with cell towers and other wireless technologies.

NRDC, the Natural Resource Defense Council, is suing the FCC along with a few First Nations tribes. NRDC put out an article that says “5G and the FCC: 10 Reasons Why You Should Care”.
Here are some scientific studies that show that 5G is harmful:
In 2010, a study carried out in the Netherlands was one of the first that suggested radiation from Wi-Fi networks may be damaging trees and affecting the growth of other plants near routers.
Balmori, Alfonso. “Anthropogenic radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as an emerging threat to wildlife orientation.” Science of The Total Environment, vol. 518-519, 2015, pp. 58-60.
This study finds:
1. The growth of wireless telecommunication technologies causes increased electrosmog. Radio frequency fields in the MHz range disrupt insect and bird orientation.
2. Radio frequency noise interferes with the primary process of magnetoreception. Existing guidelines do not adequately protect wildlife. Further research in this area is urgent.
Cucurachi, C., et al. “A review of the ecological effects of radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF).” Environment International, vol. 51, 2013, pp. 116-140.
This study finds:
1. A Review of 113 studies from original peer-reviewed publications. RF-EMF had a significant effect on birds, insects, other vertebrates, other organisms and plants in 70% of the studies. Development and reproduction of birds and insects are the most strongly affected endpoints.

This study finds:
1. “Conclusion: At the present time, there are reasonable grounds for believing that microwave radiation constitutes an environmental and health hazard... Concerning the exposure to electromagnetic fields, the precautionary principle is needed and should be applied to protect species from environmental non-thermal effects (Zinelis, 2010). Controls must be introduced and technology rendered safe to the environment, since this new ubiquitous and invisible pollutant could deplete the efforts devoted to species conservation.”
Manville, Albert M. “A BRIEFING MEMORANDUM: What We Know, Can Infer, and Don't Yet Know about Impacts from Thermal and Non-thermal Non-ionizing Radiation to Birds and Other Wildlife.” Wildlife and Habitat Conservation Solutions, 2014.
This study finds:
1. “In summary, we need to better understand... how to address these growing and poorly understood radiation impacts to migratory birds, bees, bats, and myriad other wildlife. At present, given industry and agency intransigence... massive amounts of money being spent to prevent addressing impacts from non-thermal radiation - not unlike the battles over tobacco and smoking - and a lack of significant, dedicated and reliable funding to advance independent field studies, ...we are left with few options. Currently, other than to proceed using the precautionary approach and keep emissions as low as reasonably achievable, we are at loggerheads in advancing meaningful guidelines, policies and regulations that address non-thermal effects...”
EKLIPSE REPORT, an EU-funded review body dedicated to policy that may impact biodiversity and the ecosystem, looked over 97 studies on how electromagnetic radiation may affect the environment. EKLIPSE REPORT WEBPAGE

The money for the 5G rollout was obtained via a Telecom scam - they charged us for fiber optic cables to the tune of 1 trillion dollars over the last 14 years but used the money for wireless technology instead: Irregulators vs FCC, another very serious lawsuit is taking to task the fact that the Telecoms have already been paid by rate payers to lay fiber optical cable all over the country. There has been an historic win against the FCC - Congrats Children's Health Defense! An Appellate Court in Wash, DC decided that the FCC did NOT its job when it ignored massive evidence for non-thermal harm from wireless radiation - basically the FCC was required to go back and actually look at the science and develop real guidelines for health impacts.

“The U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit published its decision Aug.13. The court ruled that the FCC failed to consider the non-cancer evidence regarding adverse health effects of wireless technology when it decided that its 1996 radio frequency emission guidelines protect the public's health. ”
The court's judgment states:
“The case be remanded to the commission to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect against harmful effects of exposure to radiofrequency radiation...”
CHD Chairman and attorney on the case Robert F Kennedy, Jr. said:
“The court's decision exposes the FCC and FDA as captive agencies that have abandoned their duty to protect public health in favor of a single-minded crusade to increase telecom industry profits.”
CHD's case was consolidated with another similar case that was filed by the Environmental Health Trust. The organizations filed joint briefs in the case. CHD's lead attorney for the case, Scott McCollough, a telecommunication and administrative law attorney who represented the petitioners in the hearing, said “This is an historic win. The FCC will have to re-open the proceeding and for the first time meaningfully and responsibly confront the vast amount of scientific and medical evidence showing that current guidelines do not adequately protect health and the environment.”
The court's decision continued to say:
“...the FCC completely failed to acknowledge, let alone respond to, comments concerning the impact of RF radiation on the environment...The record contains substantive evidence of potential environmental harms.”
This historic case was filed by CHD on Feb. 2, 2020. The case challenged the agency's decision not to review its 25-year-old radio-frequency emissions (RF) guidelines which regulate the radiation emitted by wireless technology devices (such as cell phones and iPads) and infrastructure (cell towers, Wi-Fi and smart-meters), and to promulgate biologically and evidence-based guidelines that adequately protect public health.
In 1996, the FCC adopted guidelines which only protect consumers from adverse effects occurring at levels of radiation that cause thermal effects (temperature change in tissue), while ignoring substantial evidence of profound harms from pulsed and modulated RF radiation at non-thermal levels. The FCC hasn't reviewed its guidelines or the evidence since, despite clear scientific evidence of harm and growing rates of RF-related sickness.
In 2012, the Government Accountability Office of Congress published a report recommending the FCC reassess its guidelines. As a result, in 2013 the FCC published an inquiry to decide whether the guidelines should be reviewed. It opened docket 13-84 for the public to file comments.
Thousands of comments and scientific evidence by scientists, medical organizations and doctors, as well as hundreds of comments by people who have become sick from this radiation were filed in support of new rules. Nevertheless, on Dec. 4, 2019, the FCC closed the docket and published its decision, affirming the adequacy of its guidelines without proper assessment of the comments or the evidence.

The FCC has 45 days to apply for further appeals, they have 90 days to file for a SC appeal.
The FCC will most likely re-open a docket for scientific evidence on the non-thermal harms for wireless radiation, so be looking for a time in the near future when we can send in comments.
Until then, basically the Court has decided that there are NO FCC guidelines right now for these wireless devices - so now is the time to fight against your Smart Meters, to fight against any 5G installations - the underlying premise that these are safe per FCC guidelines has been blown up by the Court!
Well that was almost a whole year ago. The FCC is still going full speed ahead with 5G despite all this.

Please advocate at the local, state, and federal levels, for public health hearings and a moratorium on further deployment of 5G, until or unless it is truly proven safe.
